    Refunds & Cancellations Policy

    1. Overview

    At CSR Janitorial Services, we are committed to delivering high-quality janitorial and commercial cleaning services to every client. We understand that schedules change and issues occasionally arise. This Refunds and Cancellations Policy outlines our procedures and guidelines to ensure a fair and transparent experience for all clients.

    2. Cancellation Policy

    a) One-Time Service Appointments

    We require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a one-time cleaning appointment.

    • Cancellations made 48 hours or more in advance: No charge
    • Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance: A cancellation fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service cost may apply
    • Cancellations made on the day of service or same-day after our team has been dispatched: A cancellation fee of up to 100% of the scheduled service cost may apply

    b) Recurring Service Contracts

    For clients on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly cleaning schedule:

    • Temporary skips or holds require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice and are allowed at no charge up to two times per calendar year
    • Exceeding two skips without adequate notice may result in a schedule adjustment fee
    • To permanently cancel a recurring contract, written notice must be provided at least 7 calendar days in advance of the next scheduled service

    c) No-Show / Lockout Policy

    If our cleaning team arrives at the scheduled location and is unable to gain access to the premises due to no fault of our own (e.g., no key provided, access code not shared, premises unexpectedly locked), the visit will be treated as a same-day cancellation and the full service fee will be charged.

    3. Refund Policy

    a) Satisfaction-Based Refund Requests

    We stand behind the quality of our work. If you are not satisfied with a completed service, please contact us within 24 hours of service completion and we will return to re-clean the affected areas at no additional charge.

    We strongly prefer to resolve quality concerns through a complimentary re-service rather than a monetary refund, as this allows us the opportunity to make things right directly.

    b) Refund Eligibility

    Refund requests will be considered under the following conditions:

    • The concern is reported within 24 hours of the completed service
    • The issue pertains to work within the agreed-upon scope of service
    • A re-service was either completed and deemed unsatisfactory, or was not feasible due to circumstances

    Approved refunds will be issued as a partial or full credit toward a future service, or at our discretion, returned via the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

    c) Non-Refundable Situations

    Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:

    • Concerns reported more than 24 hours after service completion
    • Dissatisfaction related to areas, items, or tasks outside the agreed scope of service
    • Damage caused by pre-existing conditions not disclosed prior to service
    • Services where access was partially or fully restricted by the client during the visit
    • Same-day cancellations or no-shows as outlined in Section 2(c)

    4. Service Disputes

    If you believe a charge was applied in error, or if you have a concern not resolved through our standard re-service process, please contact us directly before initiating a chargeback or dispute with your financial institution. We are committed to resolving issues quickly and fairly.

    Unresolved disputes will be handled in accordance with the Dispute Resolution terms outlined in our Terms of Service.
